F.U Woody Allen is the story of a young screenwriter Virgil Starkwell Johnson, whose entire life is connected in some way to the works of this legendary filmmaker. His world is soon turned upside down when it is brought to his attention that his professional role model, Mr. Allen doesn't include minorities for prominat roles in his movies, a slight that the African-American Virgil didn't initially recognize. The inner conflict Virgil now struggles with affects his love life, his creativity and most importantly his view of a man that he looks up to and cherishes. This film pays homage as well as questioning some of the casting decisions made by Woody Allen and the young writer who's conflicted by them.
